TICKETS REMAIN AVAILABLE FOR SATURDAY'S
STATE FARM ARCH RIVALRY GAME

ILLINOIS - MISSOURI WEEKEND BEGINS FRIDAY WITH THE ARCH RIVALRY RIVERBOAT RACE ON THE MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI

 

         ST. LOUIS - Aug. 31, 2010 - Arch Rivalry week has arrived.  Electricity continues to build from Columbia to Champaign for Saturday’s battle between the Fighting Illini and Tigers.  The teams kick off the season at the Edward Jones Dome in Downtown St. Louis for the final time in their current four-year series.  This year’s game marks the sixth meeting since 2002.  Kickoff is slated for 11:30 a.m. 

Fans still have the chance to obtain good tickets, including a limited number of lower level and club seats. Tickets ranging from $15 to $75 can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at all Ticketmaster outlets.  Tickets can also be purchased at the Edward Jones Dome box office beginning Wednesday.

BOX OFFICE HOURS:  The Edward Jones Dome box office, located on the east side of the Dome on Broadway, will be open at the following times:

Wednesday, Sept. 1 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 2 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 3 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 4 – 8 a.m. to halftime

ARCH RIVALRY FESTIVITIES:  Arch Rivalry weekend kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Friday with the second annual Arch Rivalry Riverboat Race on the Mighty Mississippi River.  The Friday night activities continue at 6 p.m. with a battle of the Illinois and Missouri pep bands outside Busch Stadium on Clark Street prior to the Cardinals vs. Reds game that night.
